Our third annual children's art festival, Peace Pizzazz is coming up soon at Bronson Park, on Sunday, May 22 from 1-4 p.m. Watch our promotional video:
Download the brochure here: PPBrochure2011.pdf Last year our group received a Proclamation from the Kalamazoo City Commission declaring May 2010 Peace Education Month. In line with this, children in classrooms around Kalamazoo County have been creating peace art relating to the Golden Rule. The students are learning that The Golden Rule comes forth as a commonality in all religions.
The art work will be displayed, we'll have exciting entertainment, lots of children's activities with free bubbles being given away to all children attending. The afternoon's finale will be a parade around the park led by our beloved Peace Mama.
