Sponsored by KNOW on the 66th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Please join us as we again gather for a moving and unifying event.

Family friendly activities are planned.

Children can make and launch floating Japanese "Peace Lanterns"

Children will be able to hear the story of "Sadako and the Thousand Cranes" and learn how to fold peace cranes

"Dances of Universal Peace" for all ages

Singers and Drummers

Eye witness testimonials from the federal trial of Jean Gump, local 83-year old peace activist, who has been jailed for nonviolent protest of US nuclear weapons.

The event is free and open to the public. Peace items will be available for purchase.

Help is needed, especially if you are able to help kids fold origami cranes, or would like to help at the floating peace boat table. Volunteers please email Ron at kramron@... or Tobi at thdavies@....
